sonnet
Ere fare thee well from parents and lovers,
Snowy mountains cover thy sophistry,
Banshee buries eager hope conceivers,
Whose love could not alter geography.
Tidings came ‘fore the breaking of dawn,
Wailings silently sink into the sea,
Withal comes woe from misadventure drown,
Wherefore thou art cruel as ne’er foresee!
Mark, anon comes the messenger of spring,
A black butterfly who insists to stay,
Near the muddy bow of a single wing,
Love oath never seems to breakaway.
Every passage has its destination,
O, pray spring ne’er bring separation!
